Teri Karjala, LMFT, EFTCert1, RPT, CACII
Owner, Licensed Professional Counselor

Teri Karjala is Licensed Professional Counselor & Marriage and Family Therapist. She is also the owner of Creative Counseling Center LLC that maintains a private practice, provides group counseling and supervision, and offers trainings in the community. Teri has worked in the field for the past 10 years specializing in working with children and adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma. Teri also works with families and foster families to identify strengths and help to create harmony within the home.

Teri is licensed in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Teri also is a Registered Play Therapist and a Colorado Addictions Counselor II.

Teri believes that the client/counselor relationship is crucial in the therapeutic process. Teri meets the client where they are at and work at a pace that the client is in control of. Teri's approach is supportive, warm, and collaborative. Teri is integrative in approach as she believes that no single therapy is beneficial for everyone. Teri uses various counseling theories and techniques to treat the "whole" person. Depending on the client's goals in therapy she may draw from, experiential, cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic, and/or systemic approaches. In working with children Teri primarily use play therapy techniques.

Teri's passion is helping people through life's challenges and creating a life of hope, happiness, and harmony.





Cami Boyer, LPC, LAC, MAC

Cami is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Colorado, and has an emphasis in addiction counseling. Cami has earned the highest qualifications with the State of Colorado as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC). In addition to the state credentials, she has earned the highest level of National qualifications as a Master Addictions Counselor (MAC). Cami obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. In addition to her experience assisting clients with general mental health issues, she has specific experience working with adolescents, families, individuals, and couples in addiction counseling.

Cami believes that though sometimes difficult, change is possible. She enjoys assisting others to find the solutions that help them discover the change they have been looking for in their own lives. She believes that each person has a solution as unique as their personality, and therefore she finds it important to treat each situation individually without assumptions. Her ability to truly hear what is in each client’s heart helps to provide an environment to find healing, growth, and solutions.
